Why I hate Hillary, the highway, and the store

Posted on: May 8, 2008 10:44 am

I wish their was a candiate I could trust in the White House for the next 4 years, one thing for certain, Hillary Clinton is the absolute worse choice. Not only does she lie and deceive, she is physically very annoying to me. He smile is a phony as a three dollar bill, her voice is close to the AFLAC duck. (stole that one from Bigbenslady08). I hated her when she was the first lady, now I hate her even more. She waffles on every GD issue and then instead of having insight into a resolution, she attacks her opponents. Hillary is what is wrong with this country, she is the queen of the sour punch that is poisoning America.

Every day people get nastier and nastier, nobody holds open doors for me, when I sneeze, almost nobody ever blesses me. I try to sneeze in church, that way I have blanket coverage and don't have to rely on strangers. Our highways are filled with inconsiderate losers who are either too rich, too poor, or just plain obnoxiously inconsiderate to care about me and the people they share the road with. Our stores are filled with people who would push past you to gain a lousy minute in the checkout line.

On Sunday I had this old b!tch cut ahead of me in the Express ailse. FIrst off she had 20 items easily and was very slow to put them on the belt. Then she watches the scanned groceries pile up, never thinking to help bag any of them, and then whips out a food stamp card. She screws up the PIN number, not once but twice, both times the head cashier had to come over with a key.  Maybe I should feel sorry for her that she had a food stamp card and was obvioulsy elderly. However, since she was a total assh0le to begin with, no sympathy from me. My mom is in her 70's, worked hard all her life, she pays cash at the counter and tries to help make her transactions go expediotiously as to not impeed the progress of those behind her. I feel the same way, when my transaction is held up, I apologize to the person(s) behind me in line, and it is not even my fault the cashier messed up, I just feel bad that I was somewhat repsonsible for adding to their wait. I won't change, I still let the person behind me go ahead of me if they have a significant amount of items than I do, but I have altered my approach. I tell them if they are paying cash they can go ahead of me, because I am also in a hurry. I refuse to let them screw me over because if they are using an ATM card for a loaf of bread, they just ain't worth my time.

Why I hate Hillary, the highway, and the store

Hey NYbites, well said. I can't stand any of these choices. You can chose between a marxist (BO) a professional liar (hilldog) or an old dishwater republican that doesn't know what the word conservative even means. You know it's bad when I wish I could vote for Bob Dole over these morons. This has to be the worst field in my lifetime, and will be the South Park contest of a giant feminine hygine product and a fecal sandwich. Notice how I chose my words, you never know what "bad" words will get your post pulled. Speaking of that, I tried my own hand at a Blog, and would appreciate if you could at least check it out as I am new to it. http://nflsolomon.blogs.sportsline.com/mcc/blogs/view/8226273 I think that's the link.

Why I hate Hillary, the highway, and the store

I agree with you on all three things. The three presidential frontrunners are a scary bunch. I'm not certain anyone of them is better than any other. I don't think I would trust any of them on anything. Every opinion seems to change depending on the crowd or even just the weather. I would respect a politician that basically said I will do this, I don;t care what you think, but these are my principles. Unfortunately, I'm not certain that the political system drives principled individuals to the top.

There is a complete lack of consideration in society today, which I think relates to the drop-off in face-to-face communication (just like this funnily enough). Without social interaction, etiquette and social graces disappear. More and more people put themselves first and we wonder why society is becoming less tolerant and more troubled than ever before. Like you, I also won't change who I am or how I raise my kids.

I'm sure given tim eyou could add a whole lot more to this list.

Why I hate Hillary, the highway, and the store

ukblue,

We are in sad shape my friend, just cost me 50 bucks to fill up my Toyota Camry. This is a regular car, nothing big, really on the smallish side. Not sure which candidate is the best for this problem, but I do not that Obama is just a great salesman for himself. He wants change, demands it, but really does not have the experience to come up with innovative ways around the red tape that is Congress and the Senate.

Society is a me me me way of life for most, glad to see you feel the way I do. Just because some dbags act like nobody is more important to them, does not mean I will follow suit. I am drinking the Kool-Aid and still being generally nice to people. I notice your posts,  you tend to avoid the hatred for the most part, at times it is a lot easier to vent at your computer. It is so easy to forget there are actually people on the other side of the screen and you owe yourself to treat them as you yourself would want to be treated.

Why I hate Hillary, the highway, and the store

And the CBS "therapists" that are our blogs never even send us a bill!    LOL

I hated her when she was the first lady, now I hate her even more.

Who hates her the most?   (Multiple Choice)

A)  You
B)  Bill
C) Monica

Hillary is what is wrong with this country, she is the queen of the sour punch that is poisoning America.

Nicely stated!

Every day people get nastier and nastier, nobody holds open doors for me, when I sneeze, almost nobody ever blesses me.

My policy is that if I can "pause," then the door gets held open for anyone.   If it is going to be a full stop then it is usually a full fling of the door wide open for someone so that if they stay on current progress (which many times they don't), then the door is partially open for them by the time they get there.   If I see it is someone of the age of 50 or is a mother with her hands full with kids/stroller, more times than not I stop and wait that extra second or two.   If it is someone that is handicapped or elderly, I will often wait for several full minutes if necessary to hold a door open for them (many times letting them go ahead of me in line in the process) because I know most other people won't hold the door open for them.

I almost always say bless you or gesundheit when someone sneezes.

I feel the same way, when my transaction is held up, I apologize to the person(s) behind me in line, and it is not even my fault the cashier messed up, I just feel bad that I was somewhat repsonsible for adding to their wait.

I do the same... i always use my wait time in line to have my money ready to go as soon as the checkout is done with as to not hold everyone else up.    I hate it when people stand there watch the process in awe as if they were seeing an atom be split for the first time, then take 2 minutes to fondle around in their purse or to dig their wallet out AFTER everything has been scanned.

I tell them if they are paying cash they can go ahead of me, because I am also in a hurry. I refuse to let them screw me over because if they are using an ATM card for a loaf of bread, they just ain't worth my time.

That's a good idea!

Nice to see you around more Bites!

Cheers!

Why I hate Hillary, the highway, and the store

NYB,

I cannot help but agree with you again. The never ending increase in prices for oil has a much larger impact than people understand. Not only is the cost of distribution going through the roof, but the plastic milk jug in your refrigerator costs more than it did. It may be a matter of pennies, but it's still going up instead of down.

We don't run our 4wd car anymore. We live in rural area (30 miles to Walmart, the hospital, a decent grocery store, and it would end up costing me $14 a day just to get to town. That said, I still see people driving large vehicles with only themselves in it at 65-70mph and hav concluded that gas is seen as a necessity and that people will continue to buy it whatever the cost. The sad fact is that the reduction in spending in other areas - eating out, entertainment, large ticket items, will ultimately trickle down to every consumer in the country.

The political system is set up as a me versus you system (much like society today) and unfortunately, the way the system works (and all systems are designed by people so ultimately it's our fault) is that it is easier to blame someone than to come up with a long term solution. I have been fairly consistent in decrying the quality of the Presidential candidates, and I honestly doubt that many of Sneators and Congressmen have th necessary intelligence to tackle problems that are this complex. Not saying they're stupid, but these problems and the solutions are way above most people's thinking. Add to that the short term nature of the political process (4 years between elections) and that most politicians are in bed with many different pressure groups, there is little chance that a solution can be reached and implemented. Consequently, band aids (tax rebates) are applied and every one moves on. I dont have the exact quote, but Einstein once said that if your method of thinking got you into a problem, it is unlikely that using the same thinking will get you out of it. He said it much bette rthan that but he's smarter than me.

That said, I am an optimist. I see a bright future for those that are willing to work. I fear that our schools and the no child left behind act means we will produce mediocre students at all ages, but with proper support - from parents, teachers, school boards and society- our kids should be OK.

I refuse to accept that these problems cannot be solved, and continue to refuse to drop my own standards of behavior even if others do. Taking responsibility for oneself is the first step to digging out of whatever mess we are in. Hopefully, I can help teach my children, the Little League teams that we coach and everyone who comes into contact me the same thing.

There's enough hatred in the world, a bunch of adults on a website should really be above firing anonymous insults at each other.

Why I hate Hillary, the highway, and the store

NYB,

I am beginning to wonder if such a candidate will ever excist.  It seems as long as there is a two-party system and there is big money influencing these candidates we the people will never get the leader we deserve.  Our government can't make a solid decision to save their lives.  Does it not seem logical that some sort of bill is passed to allow drilling for oil in the U.S.?  Would it not make sense to update our refineries?  I mean the price of gasoline is disgusting to say the least.  It seems obvious that there is not an alternative solution for fuel at this time.  Sorry, didn't mean to go off on a tangent, but this is just one instance as why to not trust our leaders.

As for the people on our roads and in our stores, it all comes down to manners.  Our society has become so concerned with individual accomplishment that our family values have been pushed aside.  Our kids are pushed so hard to in school these days that they don't get to have fun.  There is more time spent away from the family then spent with it.  We need to spend more time with our families and parents need to teach their children these values and manners.  My wife and I for instance both have to work to afford a house for us and our children.  We spend so much time working during the week that family time is a weekend thing only.  Being in a "go all the time" mode could definitely be a reason for the way people act on the road and in the store.  I don't know.  I do know we as a nation need to start realizing we live in the greatest country on this earth, and stop listening to the media and the Democrats that portray us as the enemy.

Why I hate Hillary, the highway, and the store

Sorry, I forgot to add one thing.  I was listening to Adam Corolla one morning and he was interview Tom Selleck.  During the interview they starting talking about the election.  Adam Corolla was under the impression that Mr. Selleck would someday run for a governmental postion.  Adam asked Mr. Selleck which candidate he would vote for.  His response was, "the first one that answers a question with "I don't know."  Sounds kind of like a stupid answer at first, but as I thought about the answer, it seemed brilliant because nobody has all the answers.  I mean nobody.
